Heymo Privacy Policy

Heymo is a one-to-one card app for sharing short messages, photos, replies, and reactions with someone close. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

Account information, such as your Sign in with Apple identifier, Firebase user ID, display name, and language preference.
Pairing information, such as invite codes and the connection between two paired users.
Content you create or receive in Heymo, including cards, text, photo cards, replies, reactions, timestamps, and related metadata.
Notification information, such as push notification tokens and Live Activity tokens used to deliver cards, replies, and updates.
Support information you choose to send us by email.

How we use information

To create and maintain your Heymo account.
To pair you with another user and deliver cards, replies, reactions, widgets, and notifications.
To store photo cards and message content you choose to send.
To troubleshoot issues, respond to support requests, and improve the app experience.
To protect the service from abuse and keep the app reliable.

Service providers

Heymo uses Apple services for Sign in with Apple and notifications, and Firebase services for authentication, data storage, file storage, cloud functions, and push delivery. These providers process information only as needed to provide the app experience.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share card content only with the paired user it is intended for, and we share information with service providers as needed to operate Heymo or when required by law.

Retention and deletion

We keep information while it is needed to provide Heymo, maintain the service, or comply with legal obligations. You can contact us to request account or data deletion.

Children

Heymo is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live, depending on the infrastructure used by our service providers.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above.
